Summary
ModCom is a product designed for a speculative developer wanting to explore the possibilities of modular construction. This project was envisioned as a community of modular buildings, courtyards and communal spaces between the buildings. The focus of the design was to encourage interaction between residents. The 14-foot wide modules are stacked and cantilevered in compositions that emphasize and express the geometry inherent to this type of construction.
