When Hector joined CPA’s Nanaimo office in October 2019, he brought over 10 years of experience designing a variety of building types including high-end residential and AAA commercial office design. Originally from Mexico City, he has been involved in the development large scale, high end commercial towers and hospitality projects. Upon moving to British Columbia he developed his expertise in high-end residential design as the lead architect on projects in West Vancouver and Whistler.
Hector’s focus draws on his ability to gain a deep understanding of the context of a project and create designs that are responsive to it. This understanding is coupled with a careful consideration of the evolution of technology and how our current consumption will effect future generations.
Outside the office Hector is always on the move, and in his spare time he enjoys trail running and cycling.
