Michele is passionate about design and its role in improving the way we live and transforming the built environment for the better. She enjoys working closely with clients to understand their needs as well as surprising them with the unexpected. Michele is an advocate for sustainable design and is always looking for ways to make a project ‘greener’ as well as architecturally exceptional.

Michele received her Master of Architecture Degree from the University of British Columbia and a BFA in Design in Montreal, where she specialized in industrial design and sculpture. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and also has certificates as a Sustainable Building Advisor and Permaculture Designer (PDC). Michele has had extensive professional experience and has worked at prominent design offices in Vancouver and Toronto. Since moving to the Island in 2012, she has specialized in residential architecture and has been especially focused on creating innovative designs for multi-family housing.

Michele has been involved in a wide array of projects ranging from educational and recreational facilities, hotels and a master planning study for a local municipality to high-end single-family homes. She has also been involved in numerous Canadian and international design competitions. Her work has been influenced by extensive travel, including architecture study abroad programmes in Florence and Rome and extended work and/or study periods in France, Finland and Russia.

Michele is a lifelong yoga practitioner and, in her spare time, can be found practicing her cello, painting, kayaking, hiking or working on a variety of design projects.
